Dreamie Planner v1 has reached the end of its support period. To continue enjoying new features, improvements, and ongoing updates, we recommend moving your data to Dreamie Planner v2.
Migrating your data only takes a few minutes.
Before You Start
Make sure you’re using Dreamie Planner v1.17 or later, as earlier versions don’t support creating migration backups.
Your migration backup consists of:
- The email address you choose during backup (only required if you’re not connecting to your device’s calendar).
- A 6-digit Restore Code generated after the backup is created.
You’ll need both when restoring your data in Dreamie Planner v2.
Step 1: Create a Backup in Dreamie Planner v1
- Open Dreamie Planner v1.
- Go to Migration.
- Tap Create Backup.
- Enter your email address if you are not connected to your device’s calendar. This email will be used to restore your data in Dreamie Planner v2.
- A 6-digit Restore Code will be generated.
Keep your Restore Code in a safe place. It remains valid for 30 days.
Step 2: Install Dreamie Planner v2
Download and install the latest version of Dreamie Planner from the App Store or Google Play.
Create an account using your email address and sign in.
Please note that creating an account is required, as Dreamie Planner v2 does not automatically retrieve events from your email provider’s calendar.
Step 3: Restore Your Data
In Dreamie Planner v2:
- Open Import.
- Choose Restore from a backup.
- Tap Enter Restore code.
- Enter:
- The same email address you used when creating the backup.
- Your 6-digit Restore Code.
- Tap Continue.
- Select events you want to import.
- Tap Import.
Your events will be imported into Dreamie Planner v2.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is my Restore Code valid?
Each Restore Code is valid for 30 days from the time it is created.
Will my data be deleted from Dreamie Planner v1?
No. Creating a backup does not remove any data from Dreamie Planner v1. Your events remain in the app until you uninstall it.
