We understand that some longtime Dreamie Planner users may be wondering why themes purchased in Dreamie Planner v1 are not automatically carried over to v2.
We’d like to explain why we made this decision, how it helps us keep Dreamie Planner going, and what we can do if you recently purchased themes in v1.
Dreamie Planner is free and has no ads
Dreamie Planner has always been designed to be a personal and peaceful space. We don’t want your planner to be filled with advertisements, and we don’t require a subscription to use the core features of the app.
The app is free to use without ads.
Our main source of income is the optional themes and sticker packs you can purchase to personalize your planner. These purchases help pay for the ongoing development, maintenance, servers, store fees, and other costs required to keep Dreamie Planner available.
Think of a theme like a notebook you buy and keep
One way to think about themes is like buying a physical notebook.
You might buy a notebook because you love its cover and use it for months or even years. When a completely new edition comes out later with a redesigned format, new artwork, new pages, and additional features, the original purchase doesn’t normally include every future edition of that notebook.
Your original purchase still gave you the product you purchased and allowed you to enjoy it for as long as you used that version.
We see the transition from Dreamie Planner v1 to v2 in a similar way.
V2 isn’t simply an update to the theme catalog. It uses a new system and has a growing collection of newly created themes and sticker packs. Continuing to create this content requires ongoing design and development work.
Purchasing themes in v2 is one of the ways you can directly support Dreamie Planner’s continued development.
What if I recently purchased something in v1?
We also understand that it wouldn’t feel fair to purchase something shortly before moving to v2 and immediately be asked to purchase it again.
That’s why we offer the following restore policy:
Individual themes purchased in v1:
Send us your Google Play order ID (for example, GPA.xxx) to support@guide.dreamieplanner.com. After verifying your purchase and eligibility, we’ll provide a redeem code for the corresponding individual theme in v2.
Theme Pack / Unlock All purchased in 2026:
Send us your order ID (for example, GPA.xxx) to support@guide.dreamieplanner.com. After verification, we can refund your v1 Theme Pack purchase so you can choose whether you’d like to purchase content from the new system.
Theme Pack / Unlock All purchased before 2026:
These purchases are not eligible for a refund. They provided access to the v1 theme collection, often for many months or years. V2 is a new system with an expanded collection of themes and sticker packs, so the v1 Unlock All purchase does not automatically unlock the v2 collection.

Our goal isn’t to make you repeatedly pay for the same thing. It’s to find a sustainable way to keep Dreamie Planner free, ad-free, actively maintained, and filled with new things to enjoy.
Every theme or sticker purchase directly helps us continue working on Dreamie Planner.
